On 19 November 2024, our CEO and Board Member and Chairman of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD), Dr. Ekrem ARIKAN, took part in a panel discussion at the European Central Securities Depositories Association (ECSDA) Conference in Brussels.
At the panel titled “Global regulatory and operational convergence on CSD matters”, Dr. ARIKAN shared MKK's data and corporate governance products and services, as well as depository activities. Dr. ARIKAN also discussed international collaborations and regulations in relation to these products.
During the course of the event, Dr. ARIKAN had the opportunity to engage in bilateral discussions with a number of executives and professionals to explore areas of cooperation to support the development of our markets.
Dr. ARIKAN also had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Mehmet KAYIŞ, Commercial Attache at the Embassy of Türkiye in Brussels, where they had a fruitful discussion about MKK's activities and potential domains of collaboration with European institutions.
