Information Security Policy
Merkezi Kayit Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK) ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availiability of the information related to the services it provides to its members, investors, customers and stakeholders with the support of senior management, employees and all stakeholders.
With respect to, our goal is to continuously improve information security processes with the contributions and compliance of all our employees and stakeholders by keeping the awareness of Information Security at a high level.
Information Security Scope
Borsa Istanbul headquarter where Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş is located, all business and information technology processes provided from the data center and business continuity center, all business and information technology processes, legal regulations to be complied with and support infrastructures are ensured within the scope of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Information Security Objectives
- Storing and managing member, investor, customer, stakeholder and related party information in secure environments of all services provided within the institution.
- Fulfilling the obligations arising from national and international laws, legislation, regulations and contracts that are subject to as a Central Securities Depository.
- Protecting the reputation of the institution by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availibility of the information produced, used, transmitted and stored.
- Keeping information security awareness at a high level
- Protecting the institution against threats from inside or outside.
- Protecting all physical and electronic information assets of the institution.
ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
Our organization has been implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 certification in 2009. The validity of our certificate is maintained with successful audits carried out by internationally accredited independent auditing organizations, and currently TÜRKAK accredited certificate is valid until May 2026.
