While providing central securities depository services in world standards and with minimum costs to its stakeholders MKK, with the help of the technological infrastructure established in accordance to its vision of developing data and technology projects that meet market participants’ requirements by using in-house resources; MKK took an important step and made an official application to the Ministry of Industry and Technology to be granted an R&D Centre license based on the ongoing and planned projects.
As a result of this application and detailed review and evaluation of its projects by a committee of referees made up of academicians, MKK was granted with the R&D Centre License as of 08.11.2013.
One of the companies in the Borsa Istanbul Group, MKK is the first financial market infrastructure institution that was granted the license.
MKK aims to be unique and innovative in all of its projects on technical, legal and operational aspects to support the Istanbul International Financial Centre Project. MKK’s innovative products and services that are put into service in both domestic and foreign capital markets proved their excellence by receiving respected domestic and international awards.
With the support and motivation of becoming an R&D Centre, MKK continues to develop data and technology oriented products and services for the use of local and international financial markets.
